Philanthropy

We are one of the top few fraternities in time and money donated every year to a variety of charities.  Last year, we raised over $20,000 and logged over 3,000 hours of service.  One of the tenets of Kappa Sigma is service, a charge that we live to the fullest.

IU Dance Marathon

Last year, over 30 members participated in the annual Indiana University Dance Marathon, in which they stood, danced, and supported the Riley Hospital for Children for 36 hours straight.  Last year, IUDM raised over $677,000, making it the 3rd largest collegiate philanthropy in the country!

Big Man on Campus

BMOC is an annual fundraiser and talent show put together by Zeta Tau Alpha in which men from every fraternity compete against each other for the title of Big Man on Campus.  Kappa Sig raised over $13,000 in the last two years and received 2nd place out of over 20 entrants.

Little 500 Concert

In the past, we have hosted a concert with national acts such as O.A.R, Guster, Graham Colton, and Rusted Root.  We work hard putting this together during Little 500 week, and donate all the proceeds to the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington.

Stand up for Charity

We paired with the women of Alpha Chi Omega and created a new campus philanthropy called "Stand Up For Charity".  Tammy Pescatelli ("Last Comic Standing") was among the performers, and all proceeds were donated to charity.
